Version 2.3.2 has better scripting support for *nix environments plus makes it easier to test other environments. Additionally, if you want to generate many millions of rows of test data, the data can be generated into delimited tables and then bulk loaded.

A cool Java/Swing app that uses RDBMS independant JDBC prepared statements to provide a tpc-c benchmarking environment. Similar to DBT2, but, in Java and with a GUI console.
