Another Toronto resident pointed out to me that I'd better mention
that there's more than one TTC line from the airport -- you don't
want to take the wrong one! The one you want is called the Airport
Rocket, route number 192. It takes about 20 minutes from the airport
to the subway. I was just looking at the website again, and it seems
the paragraph I had on the TTC has been eaten by the CMS. I'm not
sure why, but I'll fix it now, and it'll be available later today.

PS -- For the transit geeks: the other bus route, 58A Malton, takes 45
minutes to get to the subway. It goes to the Spadina line, which is
part of the Yonge-University-Spadina line, so you don't have to
change trains. Also, you get to see the remarkable -- ugly or
beautiful, depending on one's view -- subway stations on the Spadina
section of the subway. If you're going this way, just stay on the
train all the way around to Dundas station -- the Spadina line
changes to the University line, then turns a U and becomes the Yonge
line. You'll end up coming into Dundas station northbound, so you're
on the opposite platform to the directions. This trip will take you
a very long time, note. You have to be a railfan to want to do it.
