PostgreSQL Anniversary-goers:

First off, I wanted to let everyone know that we're a little over capacity
for the Code Sprint. The Code Sprint is intended to be two days of
intensive hacking on the PostgreSQL code to get ready for 8.2 or start
work on a new feature. If you signed up because you were expecting
something different, or not sure you're really up to 16+ hours of marathon
coding, please speak up and I'll remove you from the Code Sprint.

Second, we're looking for three more "lightning talks" for the conference.

Lightning talks are 5-minute talks on one brief topic. It's a great way to
get started with giving tech talks if you haven't before; it's a good way
to introduce ideas which you don't have full examples for, and it's an
opportunity for those of you whose talks were not chosen for the
conference. See http://perl.plover.com/lightning-talks.html for the
concept.

Here's the conditions:

-- Each Lightning talk is 5 mintues.
-- You may use only up to 8 slides of PDF slides, which must be sent to the
conference no later than June 15th.
-- You may have only a 1 page handout, which must be to the conference on
the same date.
-- Neither slides nor handout are required.
-- No demos.

So, submit a Lightning Talk now to conference-submissions at pgfoundry.org!
Please include your full name, and a talk title and description.
