 For my improving hash project,
I've post a WIP patch to pgsql-hackers

I'm running some test using pgbench and trying to compare some parameters
like logical i/o with  B-Tree and current implementation.

I've submitted a patch implementing a restriction function for text search:

I'm now looking into whether prefix search should be dealt with 
separately when esimating selectivity and waiting for feedback about the

pgScript one week ago and I am now correcting bugs.

I just sent a new patch fixing my GQB pre-alpha version on non-M$ OS a few
minutes ago, and now waits for users feedback, right now only three things
aren't implemented on my project:

- Group by clause.
- Having too.
- Order by.

The other things are implemented yet, this is a week old release for windows

This is the latest patch with new features & bugs fixing, but still working

Students, Mentors,

Next week (August 11 to 18) is the last official week of work on GSOC. 
This means two things:

1) you *must* upload code of your current WIP patches to Google;

2) mentors and students must fill out evaluations next week based on the 
work you expect to complete by August 18.

Please do both of the above promptly so that there is no trouble with 
Google about getting you paid.

Of course, all students are more than welcome to continue hacking on 
your projects indefinitely.  I certainly hope that students and mentors 
can be available for e-mail interchange for the September CommitFest if 
you're working on a core patch.

Let me know if you need anything!

evaluation in e-mail format to the administrator before you leave town!

Folks, 

This is a reminder that mentors should be working with your students to wrap 
up the project this week, where "wrap up" means getting code documented and 
into a form that can be put online for the google folks to see.  (You can 
keep working on things after next week, but there needs to be some type of 
release now)
