This now works, but the interim period where it did not will cause 
problems for checkouts done during that time.  The code's fine, but if you 
make changes and then try a cvs diff it will include the changes of the 
identification tag.  It's easy to edit these out, and updates will work, 
but it's a good idea to checkout the repo again if you plan on doing any 
work on it.
