Unfortunately for registered users only. Well, this is somewhat different community, anonymous access could generate too heavy and/or unwanted traffic and so on.

I know.

I have nothing against *developing* pgoledb using mailing lists. What I wanted to say is that using mailing lists we do not get attention of pgoledb users, from which some can actually help developing.

I'm using good mail client, changed to it especially for current list :)

Not for developer, who *needs* oledb driver for postgres; but enough high entry barrier for user, who doesn't need this driver, but could need it if it was complete.

Like me - I don't need this driver, but it may become needed in some time. Sad reality - nobody [our customers] is interested in using postgesql server, not even talking about financing development to support that.

I'm contradicting myself somehow - but actually my joining to oledb-devel list was almost accidental. Long story and not topic related.

Can you estimate, how many people are using pgoledb at all? 10, 100, 1000?

Thanks :) , but look below (and I cannot give user support, because I'm not using pgoledb).

Worse than having single list for development and users. All my idea was to create ONE place, where all interested parties could meet; having list and forum would break things further.

Well, I need to look at pgfoundry and spy on other projects and think for some time - what kind of communication can make pgoledb more popular.
