Thanks so much for the quick and informative replies! That makes sense.

So when the new replication server is brought up, do the Cluster DBs
automatically enter an entry into their cluster.conf files, or is this
just done in memory? I guess the real question is, "Should I be
updating the cluster.conf file with the new replication servers for
the next time the DB is restarted, even though they are aware of the
new replication server once it comes up?"
