Summary: Regression tests fail on redhat(linux) 0.3

Initial Comment:
The regression tests fail on redhat linux on at various points. One odd one being a "glibc memory corruption" error that more than likely causes/triggers other nasty failures.

Message:
The fix for the off by one error allows the regression tests to continue successfully.

Message:
This is likely the Python tokenization issue that I have observed first hand with gdb. This may be a plpy issue, but I'm not sure yet as no other platform other than linux/glibc seems to display the same behaviour.
