The file was provided but is missing from messages.git. It can be downloaded from <https://raw.github.com/dvarrazzo/postgresql-it/master/9.1/pg_basebackup.po>. I've also pushed the file in the REL9_1_STABLE branch of my <https://github.com/dvarrazzo/pgmessages> clone.
