Summary:
Npgsql DDEX Preview - Design Time
Detailed description
Is there anyway to run the DDEX in design time without having to start another Visual Studio session from the Npgsql.Provider2 project? If not, when is there going to be a release that will install the DDEX? Also, is the DDEX only going to be one way (update from existing database)? I was able to create the Entity Framework model from the database, but I cannot generate a database from a new model.
I am using Visual Studio 2010 (x64) on windows server 2008 R2 standard SP1.

I didn't test it myself yet, but if you change the NpgsqlProvider.gen.reg file, you can install it to your main vs.net
Just remove the Exp_Config from all the registry paths inside the file and also change the Codebase path to point to a Npgsql.Provider.dll somewhere in your computer and you are ready to go.
Just merge the registry file you modified and you will have Npgsql DDEX installed.
About your other question, I talked to Jerónimo and unfortunately for while, there is only support from database -> model. He is working in the other way though.
I hope it helps.
